Migrating to Office 2007 (PC)
Information Technology Services (ITS) now has Office 2007 for PC and Office 2008 for Mac available for all faculty and staff computers on campus. To ensure success during the transition, ITS and Human Resources' Learning and Development are working collaboratively to provide you with a host of resources - from Microsoft Web site to instructor-led demonstration workshops.

Where did my familiar 2003 icons and toolbars go?
Go to the application section below. Click on the "Interactive 2003 to 2007 Command Reference Guide" link to learn more. All you need is to click on the commands that you used to perform in 2003, the tutorial will show you the new locations of the same command in the 2007 interface. Very cool!
I am not getting a new computer anytime soon. Can I have Office 2007 installed?

I am scheduled to get a new computer soon. Do I have to have Office 2007 installed?
No. You can still get Office 2003 installed, but we will stop offering Office 2003 at the end of the Spring Semester.

How do I share my 2007 files with users who are still using 2003?
There is a compatibility application for Office 2003 users. Please contact the ITS Help Desk at
helpdesk@lmu.edu for assistance.
Is there a new version of Office for Mac?
Yes, we also offer Office 2008 for Mac.
Can I have Microsoft Office for my home computers?
Yes. @Home Licensing program allows faculty and staff to check out from the Library (2nd floor) a limited number of software titles to take home and install on their home computers. Available today:
