Asian Pacific Student Clubs


Asian American & Pacific Islander Sisterhood (API)
Represents women from various backgrounds, allowing students to express issues and concerns of its members.

Han Tao
This club promotes Chinese culture at LMU by holding activities including socials, exhibitions and food sales. The club celebrates the Moon Festival and Chinese New Year and is also involved in community service such as donating food and blankets to the International Red Cross.

Indonesian Club
Unites the Indonesian students and promotes Indonesian culture and social events within the LMU community. The club welcomes new Indonesian students every semester and coordinates formal events.

Isang Bansa
Promotes and preserves the Pilipino and Pilipino-American cultures through academic, cultural, philanthropic, and social activities. Some of the activities include Pilipino Cultural Night, Simbang Gabi, Pistahan, The Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture, Sportsfest, and Friendship Games.

Kyodai
Promotes the Japanese-American experience through socialism and culturalism. Kyodai goes to Japanese culture shows and travels to Manzanar, a Japanese-American Internment Camp in California.

Vietnamese Student Association (Son Lam Hai Hoang)
Exposes the Vietnamese culture to LMU. The club participates in festivals such as the Tet Festival and holds the Vietnamese Culture Night at LMU.
