Dear Faculty:
The LRC offers tutoring in over 100 LMU courses. The peer tutors are students who sucessfully completed those courses with a grade of "B+" or higher, and have completed a rigorous training program. The LRC professional staff are interdisciplinary in their expertise and are eager to help ensure that students do well at LMU. In addition, we are committed to serving the varied needs of students with disabilities through Disability Support Services Office. We recognize that our services are intended to help you in the work of teaching students. I always welcome your feedback and suggestions regarding existing services, as well as to brainstorm about creating new ones.
Faculty Referrals:
Please feel free to refer students to us for course-specific tutoring or study skills workshops by contacting us. If you would like, we will update you on the progress that your students are making.
Student Tutor Recommendations:
In order to provide tutoring services of the highest quality, we depend on you to recommend highly qualified tutors. Be sure to include the student's name as well as the courses that he or she would be qualified to tutor.
