Welcome to the Office of Assessment. Our office coordinates assessment activities across the university, with an emphasis on the assessment of student learning outcomes. We also provide consulting support to schools, departments, and programs on campus in the development and implementation of learning outcomes assessment plans.

Information about the campus-wide national surveys our students participate in each year, implemented through the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at UCLA. Links to other online assessment resources are also provided.
Assessment is now more closely aligned with Institutional Research, under Institutional Effectiveness.
