Housing & Meals:
Kansai Gaidai University offers its international students three types of housing arrangements: home-stay, dormitory and off-campus housing.
Home-stay participation is strongly encouraged because it provides an excellent opportunity for students to acquire and enhance knowledge of the Japanese language and culture. Living with a Japanese family can be the highlight of a student's stay in Japan. Dormitories called "International Seminar Houses," offer an international living environment. Dormitory living allows students to acquire and experience various cultural perspectives with fellow students. Assistance in finding off-campus housing is provided primarily to those students who extend their stay into a second semester, as well as to students with spouses or children, as family-friendly accommodations are not available on campus.
