ATHLETICS & RECREATION

In addition to LMU's athletics program, Campus Recreation promotes the education of the whole person by providing the LMU community with programs and services that develop an understanding of physical activity and exercise. We encourage a healthy lifestyle and lifelong interest in recreational activities.

The Burns Recreation Center offers personal training, swim lessons and more.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICE

There are over 140 active clubs and organizations and a Greek community with 15 local chapters. Our students volunteer more than 175,000 service hours a year with 350 community organizations.

Open Mic Night at The Living Room brings out the best talent on campus.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

The Student Health Center and Student Psychological Services are open to current students in an effort to make life on campus a safe and healthy experience. In addition to these services, the Fitwell Center offers nutritional guidance and personal fitness assessment.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Whether you're looking for an on-campus job as a student or need advice preparing for your career after graduation, Career Development Services is designed to help you succeed.

Career Development Services offers career counseling by appointment or drop-in.

Housing

Traditional Halls, Suites, Apartments and Theme and Living Learning Communities are home to the many students who live on campus. For those who chose to live off campus, The Off-Campus Student Life office helps students stay connected to campus life.

More than 3,200 students live in 19 residence halls and apartments on campus.

Important Dates for First Year Applicants

Attend the mandatory information meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 9PM at Sullivan Lounge.
Fill out application, select position in which you are applying for and attach a hard copy of your campaign platform.
Submit application by Friday, September 7th to your Resident Director or the RHA Office located in Leavey 5, Room 300.
Campaign from Tuesday, September 4th to Monday, September 10th. Be sure to follow all campaign rules.
Cast your vote on Tuesday, September 11th from 8-10PM in front of your residence hall.
Election results will be posted in your residence hall on Thursday, September 13th by 5PM.

Important Dates for Upperclassmen Applicants

Attend the mandatory Information Meeting on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 9PM in the Leavey 6 Meeting Room.
Fill out application and select position in which you are applying for.
Submit application to your Resident Director (RD) and sign up for an interview by 5PM on Friday, September 7th.
Interviews will take place between September 10th and September 13th.
Candidates will be notified by Friday, September 14th.
