The Academic Resource Center
Welcome to the Academic Resource Center! From workshops to individual and group tutoring, handouts to pre-advising, the ARC offers a variety of services that help all students maintain academic success at LMU and beyond. Visit the Academic Resource Center for individual or group subject tutoring in a variety of areas, including writing across the curriculum. You might also find our peer tutors in the library or one of the residence halls!
Academic advising in the ARC assists undecided students in the development of meaningful educational plans compatible with their life goals, which is accomplished through a collaborative effort of the student, the University Advisor and academic departments. For more information, write: advising@lmu.edu.
The ARC also offers accommodations and assistance to Graduate Students. These services are similar to, as well as an expansion of what we already offer our undergraduates. Whether it’s with writing, time management, or ESL conversations, the ARC can help even those students decorated with a diploma.
LMU faculty members and professional staff are encouraged to collaborate with the ARC staff to design specific workshops, to incorporate study skills into the classroom, and to create other innovative approaches to student retention and academic success.
If there is something you need assistance with, please contact our office. The Academic Resource Center is located on the second floor of Daum Hall.
Note: The ARC does not offer private tutoring.
