A disciple of Saul Alinsky, Thomas ("Tom") A. Gaudette (1923-1998) would leave his own notable mark on the field of community organizing, as creator of the Mid-American Institute for Community Development and trainer of numerous community organizers. The holdings in this collection consist of materials that Tom Gaudette gathered to document both his work in community organizing as well as that of other persons and groups.
