Undergraduate Research Symposium

March 20, 2010 | University Hall

The Second Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium provides students with the opportunity to professionally present their faculty-mentored achievements in research and creative activity to the wider community. It equally fosters life-long learning and offers a forum for students, faculty, and the public to discuss cutting edge research topics and to enhance the connection between research and the classroom. Please be sure to join us on Facebook to ask questions, offer feedback, and show your interest!

This year’s theme, Shaping Tomorrow’s Landscape with Today’s Knowledge, emphasizes the didactic benefits of applying contemporary concepts and the transformative manner by which such learning contributes to your immediate world and beyond. It enables undergraduates to continue the academic success of last year's 150 participants! The 2010 Keynote Speaker is Dr. John Carfora, Executive Director of LMU's Office for Research and Sponsored Projects, whose work and achievements are highlighted here.
