Alumni Relations

Calling the Village Home

Although unable to attend, the following individuals were key influencers who were instrumental in the organizations success: Donald Merrifield, S.J., President, Loyola Marymount University from 1969-1984; William Fitzgerald '48, Ph.D., the first and only faculty member at Loyola who would serve as the BSU Faculty Advisor; and LMU Trustee Michael Steed '71, Loyolan Editor (1970-1971).  At an event held earlier in the week, over 135 alumni, students, faculty and staff convened for a retrospective panel discussion about the BSU growth over the past forty years.
