Attire

  • Please wear loose fitting clothing suitable to workout in. Include running shoes, shorts and sports bras for females.

Forms

Goals

  • Come with a purpose in mind. We are here to get you started on an exercise program that will help you work toward your goals. Be prepared to set out specific and timely goals you would like to accomplish. An exercise prescription will be given to those who request a set program.

Essentials

  • No caffeine, alcohol or nicotine at least 4 hours prior to testing
  • Avoid exercise on the day of the test
  • Avoid meals 2 hours prior to the testing (light snacks ok)
  • Please do not come with body lotion on
  • Assessments will take up to an hour, so please come on time

· Come fully rested and hydrated

  • Report if you have a respiratory infection or are feeling sick and cancel in advance if it hinders testing

Physical Fitness Assessments include: resting heart rate, blood pressure, height, weight, body composition, cardiovascular fitness, abdominal strength, trunk flexibility and overall muscular strength. Assessment will also include a health risk appraisal prior to the fitness assessments, and will end with a 10-15 minute consultation with your trainer or technician.
