World-famous for its marble carving studios and bronze casting foundries, we will spend three days on the Mediterranean Sea with artists from all over the world who choose this ideal place to work and vacation.  We will take several day trips including Le Cinque Terra, Lucca-the jewel of Tuscany, and Carrara where we learn about the history of quarrying marble, from the time of the Roman Empire to present day.
