The program is organized by the Akademie für Internationale Bildung (AIB), the organization that has run all of LMU’s successful Germany programs for more than fifteen years. The program includes a four-day excursion to Munich and Southern Germany. During the excursion, students visit Neuschwanstein castle; the Deutsches Museum, world’s largest technology museum; and leading German firms, e.g., BMW and Mercedes Benz are possible site visits. In addition, there will be several day excursions including art-course activities and a new three-country day trip: Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands all in one day!
From June 21–24, 2009, for an additional fee, students can participate in a four-day, AIB-organized, post-program excursion to Berlin! More information about the excursion and its cost will be available in the Study Abroad Office starting in late 2008.
