2008 Eugene Escallier Application

What Is It?
A grant to conduct an independent research during the summer in regions where Western Civilization was born. It may not be used for a formal study abroad program.

Who Is Eligible?
Full-time LMU students who are juniors, seniors or graduate students.

How Do I Apply?
Please staple to the application page a one-page description that provides;

(a)   the topic of your study

(b)   your travel destinations

(c)   a discussion of the dimensions of Western Civilization that you will be studying, and

(d)   a list, if any, of your previous travels and experiences living abroad.

NOTE:

Winners will present a brief report at a symposium held in Fall 2008.

disseminate the results of your trip to the LMU community.]
