Visual Identity Program
Consistent communication inspires and establishes LMU as one of the nation's distinguished Catholic universities and as a cultural and community leader. Creating communications within the university's visual identity helps enhance LMU's image and visibility in our community and beyond. This includes the consistent use of:
the University logo, font, color, templates/layouts and photography style. People see communication materials from LMU on a daily basis. Each of these pieces represents the university and help people form an impression of LMU. Some of these materials are:
- Correspondence / letterhead
- Business cards / E-mail signatures
- Reports / presentations
- Our Web sites
|
- Brochures
- Ads
- Invitations
|
- Posters / fliers
- Building / vehicle signage
- Gift items / apparel

What's Your Part in the Visual Identity?LMU communication materials are generated from all areas of the campus, including the President's office, the dean's office and your office. Each communication, through its content and presentation, provides information about LMU and its programs. Impressions are formed through what is stated and how the information is presented, such as clarity, tone, style, and professionalism. Each communication either strengthens or weakens LMU's public image based upon how it is perceived. It's up to everyone to help build LMU's public image.
