Hi everybody! I’m Naivasha, and I can’t wait to meet everybody who is joining the LMU family. I graduated high school in Johannesburg, South Africa, although I’ve had the amazing privilege of traveling the world my whole life, with my parents who are humanitarian aid workers. I love poetry and instant gratification, and I especially love LMU’s School of Film and Television which ROCKS! I want to make documentaries one day and save the world, etc, but for now I am satisfied with basking in the LA sun and taking advantage of everything LMU has to offer!

Next semester I will be continuing my film production studies abroad in the great land of Germany. Also, I can't wait to get to know the incoming class of 2012 and introduce them to LMU.

Hi! I’m Jackie Mader and I’m a junior Screenwriting major with a minor in Elementary Education. I’m from beautiful Woodinville, Washington, which is just outside of Seattle. In my spare time, I love playing soccer, traveling, music, the beach, playing the violin and piano, and I’m a vegetarian! I’m so excited to be an O’Leader and can’t wait to meet all of you!

Just like the wise rock'n'roll band Journey once said, "Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world." Except I am a boy, and with all the people in Los Angeles, I am not that lonely. I came to LMU to study Film Production and experience the big city. Enjoy your first year because it goes by fast and I'm not lion (ha! LMU pun).
