F.R.E.S.H. Squad
The F.R.E.S.H. (Freshmen Reaching Excellence through Student Help) Squad is a sub-component of the First Year Experience (FYE) office. The Squad is a team of highly knowledgeable and personable sophomores, juniors, and seniors who, by virtue of both training and experience, are experts on the first year experience at LMU and the challenges and opportunities that the transition from high school to college can bring. Each FRESH Squad member will be working in a first year residence hall.

Favorite Moment at LMU: Probably Delta Zeta's philantropy, Turtle Tug. Despite the face taht I was the fifth person from the front, I was the first to be thrown into the green jello! I was covered from head to toe in sticky goo; so to rinse off, my friends and I went swimming in Foley Pond! What an adventure!
Something about Jack most people don't know: I have broken my nose twice, fractured my spine, and had head trauma twice.
Personal Statement:
I would advise the freshmen to take advantage of different types of opportunities. Try to vary your activities. This will help you figure out your true interests and expose you to different types of people.

Favorite Moment at LMU: There's too many to choose just one! If I had to choose one, it would be co-ed intramural football. Everyone thought I was going to be bad, but I was actually pretty decent, and we ended up winning the Intramural Championship! Now I have a large shirt with Intramural Champs on it!
Something about Jasmine most people don’t know: My dream job is to become a news anchor woman and be on the TODAY Show.
Personal Statement:
"Love is the moment!" Remember that through everything love conquers all, and there's always somebody who cares about you even when you think otherwise. Just take advantage of EVERY opportunity offered. You should explore life, be adventurous, discover and follow your passion, be inquisitive, study hard, and have a blast at everything you do!
