We held a drawing for the $300 gift card.

Congratulations Kelley Nguyen!

Thanks to everyone for spreading the word and encouraging seniors to take the test. We can’t wait to see the results!

We Need(ed) Seniors!

Loyola Marymount University is conducting a large-scale assessment of information competence skills and knowledge among LMU students. In this assessment we wish to learn about the information-seeking methods known and used by students. Only aggregate, anonymous results will be reported and used. Your individual responses and your identity will be kept strictly confidential.

This spring we are testing 100 seniors. In the summer we will test 100 freshmen. The purpose is to compare results and analyze how seniors learn advanced information skills during their four years at LMU. As part of the assessment group seniors completed an online questionnaire in an E-classroom in University Hall, UH 3212. This process lasted about 90 minutes, and volunteers were compensated for their participation.

All participants received a $20 gift card from Target after completing the Information Skills Assessment.

One student in the group of 100 will be chosen through a drawing to receive a $300 gift card of your choice.  Options include the Apple Store, Best Buy, Borders, or Ralph's.

This drawing will take place after all assessment sessions have been completed.

Congratulations Kelley!
