President's Day 2008

Three hundred members of the LMU family attended the 22nd Annual President’s Day: A Homecoming of the Mind on Saturday, March 15, 2008.  The day began over lunch with an informative and stimulating University update and remarks by President Robert B. Lawton, S.J., followed by presentations by 22 of LMU’s dedicated faculty members.  There was an array of topics ranging from the environment, science and technology, film and television, and so much more.  Some presentation titles included “The Great War and Its Legacies”, “The Mythology of Climate Change”, “What Happens After Death?”, and “What Does a Film Director Do Anyway?”
