iMentee Application
Welcome to LMU!
LMU students, both US and international, are available as a resource to you. If you have questions about the courses, professors, your major or college, LMU student life or Los Angeles in general, we can match you with an iMentor in a group of 2 or 3 depending on the availability of iMentors. iMentors are your academic and social resource at LMU, as well as a general resource for Los Angeles and the US. You are welcome to correspond by email and meet your iMentor in person during our Orientation & Welcome Dinner. Matching is done by availability and your preference of country or major. If you are interested, please complete the application and submit it to OISS. Once your application is received, we will send you a confirmation and your iMentor contact information.
Goals:
Assist new international students with adjustment to college life at LMU and to
Los Angeles/US
Develop stronger international community at LMU through regular meetings
& events.
Foster friendships between US and international students at LMU
Increase global awareness on campus
Support enrollment and retention of international students
Commitment:
Participation for one semester. May continue, if desired.
Participation with iMentors in the OISS International Student Orientation &
Welcome Dinner
Participation with iMentors in at least two events (OISS and LMU sponsored)
evaluation and celebration at the conclusion of program

Ease your transition to LMU and USA
Meet other LMU students who can assist you
