This collection consists of the personal papers of Charles Luckman (1909-1999), a business leader in the United States in the 1930s and 1940s as president of Pepsodent and Lever Brothers. In the 1950s he resumed his architectural career, with William Pereira and eventually developed a nationally-known firm  responsible for such buildings as the Boston Prudential Center, the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles, and New York's Madison Square Garden.
