How is mobilization achieved in Los Angeles, a city characterized as 100 towns in search of a center? That is, how is mobilization achieved in a multi-centered city? How are people brought together, and motivated to remain mobilized together, effectively? Is mobilization in Los Angeles different that other cities? Is so, how? If not, why not?
