Facility Diagrams

Need to make a diagram for your event?  Well, look no further!

Below is a list of various floorplans of outdoor and indoor venues.

Print and use these floorplans to make to a diagram for your event. It is helpful if you include a key identifying each symbol.

    Alumni Mall
        Description: The walkway leading from the flagpoles on Loyola Blvd. to Regents Grass by Sunken 
            Gardens. 

    Bird Nest (Indoors)
        Description: Located behind Del Rey North, the Bird Nest is an indoor, 2-story facility with a 
            fireplace. It has an in-house music system and square tables with chairs (room setup cannot be 
            altered).
 
    
    Bird Nest (Outdoors)
        Description: Grass area outside of and around the Bird Nest.

    East Quad
        Description: Open courtyard between Doheny Hall, Sullivan Hall, and Huesman Hall. Permission 
            required from the Resident Director of East Quad.


    Dunning Courtyard 
        Description: Open courtyard in the center of the Burns Fine Arts building. Permission required from 
            Nestor Periera.


    Foley Lawn
        Description: Small section of grass on the northwest side of Foley.

    Foley Pond
        Description: Cement area in front of Foley Pond. It has patio tables and umbrellas.

    Founder's Pavilion 
        Description: Oval-shaped cement area in front of Pete's Arena. Permission required from Northeast 
            Area Coordinator.

    Gersten Pavilion (No Bleachers Out)
        Description: The main court of the LMU basketball team. Permission required from Athletics.

    Gersten Pavilion (Both Bleachers)
        Description: The main court of the LMU basketball team. Permission required from Athletics.

    Gersten Pavilion (East Bleachers)
        Description: The main court of the LMU basketball team. Permission required from Athletics.

    Gersten Pavilion (West Bleachers)
        Description: The main court of the LMU basketball team. Permission required from Athletics.

    Hannon Field
        Description: Outdoor field located on the east side of the Hannon Apartments. Permission required 
            from Campus Recreation.


    Hannon Quad
        Description: Outdoor courtyard in the center of the Hannon Apartments. Permission required from 
            the Resident Director of Hannon Apartments.


    Hilton 300
        Description: Indoor venue located on the 3rd floor of Hilton. The room can be configured in various 
            setups (i.e., banquet style, theater style, classroom style). The venue has partitions that can 
            separate the room into up to 4 sections.


    Huesman Lounge
        Description: Indoor venue adjacent to Huesman Hall. The room can be configued in various setups 
            (i.e., banquet style, theater style, classroom style). The venue has a fireplace, a bar, and ceiling 
            fans.


    Leavey Field
        Description: Outdoor field on top of Drollinger Parking Structure. Permission required from Campus 
            Recreation.


    Living Room
        Description: Indoor venue on the 1st floor of Malone Student Center. The room is As Is (set up 
            cannot be altered) with circular tables and chairs. Additionally, the room has an in house PA 
            system, a small stage in the center of the room, and a bar on the side of the room.

    Marymount Institute
        Description: Located on the 3rd floor of University Hall. This room is only reserved under special 
            circumstances by student groups. Permission is required from the Marymount Institute. 
   
    McKay Quad
        Description: Outdoor courtyard of McKay Hall. Permission is required from the Resident Director of 
            McKay.

    O'Malley Grass
        Description: Large lawn in front of O'Malley Apartments. Permission is required from the Resident 
            Director of O'Malley.

    
    Pereira Quad 
        Description: Outdoor quad located in the middle of Pereira and Doolan Halls.

    Rains & McCarthy Quad
        Description: Outdoor quad located between Rains and McCarthy Halls. Permission is required from 
            the Resident Director of Rains Hall.

    
    Rec Center & Gersten Parking Lots
        Description: Parking lots directly in front of Burns Recreation Center and Gersten Pavilion. Lots can 
            be used together or just one half. Lots are often used in conjunction with events in Burns Back 
            Court and Gersten Pavilion. Permission is required from Public Safety. 


    Rosecrans & Desmond Quad
        Description: Outdoor quad located between Desmond and Rosecrans Halls. Permission is required 
            from the Resident Director of Rosecrans Hall.


    Roski Dining Room
        Description: Cafeteria on the 1st floor of University Hall with access to Shea Terrace. All food and 
            beverages served at events in this venue must be provided by Sodexho, no exceptions. The 
            room is pre-set as Banquet Style and may be used after normal business hours.


    Sculpture Garden
        Description: Lawn located to the west of Sacred Heart Chapel. This venue is often used in 
            conjunction with events in Sacred Heart Chapel.


    St. Robert's Auditorium
        Description: Located in St. Robert's Hall, this indoor venue can be configured to different styles 
            (i.e., banquet, classroom, theater). This venue resembles a High School auditorium: a large stage 
            is centered in the room and has a large red curtain.


    St. Robert's Grass
        Description: Large grass area to the south of St. Robert's Hall. It has a few large trees to provide 
            shade and comfort.


    Sullivan Academic Center
        Description: Located in Sullivan Hall, this room has in-house tables and chairs setup like a 
            classroom. It is often used by the residents of East Quad for studying and homework. Permission 
            is required from the Program Coordination of Student Housing.


    Sullivan Lounge
        Description: Located in Sullivan Hall, this room has in-house sofas and armchairs. It is often used by 
            the residents of East Quad to relax and hang out. Permission is required from the Resident 
            Director of East Quad.


    Sunken Gardens & Regents Terrace
        Description: Large lawn just south of Sacred Heart Chapel. This grass area is an excellent space for 
            large events. It is conveniently located in the middle of the campus.

    The Hill
        Description: Located on the 4th floor of Malone, this indoor venue can be configured to different 
            styles (i.e., banquet, classroom, theater). Adjacent is a patio that overlooks Sunken Gardens.


    University Hall Atrium
        Description: Located on the bottom floor of University Hall, this indoor venue is reserved for events 
            on special occasions. Additional fees are often times associated with using this space, such as 
            custodial and electrical. This space is often used in conjunction with Roski Dining Hall, Shea 
            Terrace, and Ahmanson Auditorium (UNH 1000).


    University Hall Atrium East End
        Description: Located on the bottom floor of University Hall, the East End of the Atrium is often 
            used in conjunction with Ahmanson Auditoirum (UNH 1000). Additional fees are often times 
            associated with using this space, such as custodial and electrical.


    University Hall Atrium West End        
        Description: Located on the bottom floor of University Hall, the West End of the Atrium is often 
            used in conjunction with Roski Dining Hall and Shea Terrace. Additional fees are often times 
            associated with using this space, such as custodial and electrical.

    Whelan Quad
        Description: Located between the front door of Whelan Hall and the backside of Desmond Hall, the 
            quad is a great outdoor location. Permission is required from the Resident Director of Whelan Hall.
