BusinessWeek Magazine ranks LMU MBA Program #4 in the nation

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12, 2007 – Loyola Marymount University's part-time MBA program was ranked fourth in the nation by BusinessWeek Magazine's 2007 Best Part-Time MBA Programs rankings. Of the top five programs in the country three are located in Southern California. Also ranked in the top four were UCLA, USC and Emory.

“I am thrilled,” said Rachelle Katz, director of the LMU MBA program. “Given that a large part of the rankings was based on the student satisfaction survey, it appears that our students are very satisfied with what we do at Loyola Marymount University.”

Many of LMU's part-time MBA students work full time and have family obligations. LMU works to accommodate their needs and allows them a flexible schedule. LMU offers students a choice of eight emphases as well as a number of international study options. Additionally, LMU is a member of the Jesuit Transfer Network, offering students who are transferred by their employers, the opportunity to complete their MBA at a Jesuit school in another US city.

The BusinessWeek ranking is based on general student satisfaction, academic quality, average work experience, number of tenured faculty, number of electives available, completion rate and students qualifying the program as “completely responsible for their achieving their goals.”
