The suspicion of plagiarism can alter the student teacher relationship more than actual plagiarism. The
practical, theoretical, and ethical implications of plagiarism will be discussed. Specifically, this talk
will define plagiarism, place plagiarism in the context of academic misconduct, explain how good
students end up plagiarizing, and how to create classroom situations that obviate it.
Lunch will be included, please RSVP to teachers@lmu.edu or Ext.85866
