Christine Nangle
Prior to joining LMU in November of 2006, Christine was the communication officer for the Alaska National Guard Public Affairs Office. She was awarded a General’s Coin for her substantial contribution in media training and crisis communications. Before being recruited by the National Guard to become a media spokesperson, Christine was a broadcast journalist for CBS 11 News. Christine was a reporter and anchor at CBS 11 News in Anchorage, Alaska. While at CBS 11 News, she executed multiple live shots, cultivated strong relationships with prominent leaders and wrote stories that created positive changes in the community.
Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communications Studies and a minor in Business Administration from LMU in 2001, and a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Journalism, in 2003. Her graduate thesis was on Father Greg Boyle and the Homeboys.
