LMU joins ARCHIVES FEVER: The Second-Annual Los Angeles Archives Bazaar

The Library's Department of Archives and Special Collections once again will represent LMU at the Los Angeles Archives Bazaar. The Archives Bazaar is a gathering place for students, teachers, amateur and professional historians and the just plain curious. Presented by L.A. as Subject, a research collective hosted by the USC Libraries, the bazaar will offer numerous resources for exploring the rich histories of L.A.'s diverse neighborhoods and communities, and virtually any subject related to the Los Angeles region. Held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Huntington Library on Saturday, September 29th, the bazaar will feature exhibits by 40 local historical collections and archives-ranging from universities and public libraries to community-based organizations. Attendees can browse collections, schedule research visits, and consult with experts from the L.A. as Subject Archives Forum for guidance with their own Los Angeles historical investigations. Throughout the day, educational programming will cover a range of topics. Admission is free, and no registration is required for the event. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
