FLT Leadership Academy


Shake Hands    “FLT Leadership Academy” is a program of the LAX/Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce . FLT 2008 is designed for individuals who wish to become more involved in the communities of Westchester, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Playa del Rey, parts of Venice, and Los Angeles ... plus Los Angeles International Airport. FLT is designed to develop the leadership skills of communication and team building, while familiarizing participants with the history and land use of the area, economic development, lobbying and civic involvement. The program will include tours of LAX, Marina Harbor, Los Angeles City Hall and provide an opportunity to meet and interact with many of the political leaders from the state to local levels. The Chamber has also partnered with Loyola Marymount University and the office of Continuing Education for this course.

Credit
: 4 semester credits of Professional Development credit from LMU Extension, Loyola Marymount University and an official Certificate of Completion.

Tuition: $695
Includes: All materials, lunches and one ticket to the Chamber Installation Dinner
