The organization provides parenting education, English as a second language classes and family advocacy services. While parents attend classes, their children attend LAMP Jr.: A program for children from birth to 12 years. This program prepares them for kindergarten and also provides literacy and instruction for those children who are on break from school.

“Believing that together we can be a light in the darkness, South Central LAMP provides a supportive, nurturing presence in the everyday lives of women and their families,” said Mary Hofmann Henriques.
