The African American Alumni Association
The African American Alumni Association (AAAA) and AAAA Scholarship Fund were established in 2003 by a dynamic assembly of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) alumni, faculty and staff. While fulfilling LMU's mission of service and leadership, the AAAA also promotes and fosters a spirit of community amongst LMU’s African American alumni and with enrolled students, faculty, and staff by way of academic, professional development, and social networking opportunities.
LMU recognizes and supports the goals of the African American Alumni Association; which include raising scholarship funds for students; creating and supporting programs that enhance the educational experience of African American Students from the time of their admittance to graduation; providing a welcoming environment for African American Alumni to connect, re-connect, and stay connected to each other both on and off campus.
