About Us

The Loyola Marymount University Alumni Association exists with the purpose/mission of fostering a strong, dynamic, lifelong alumni community connected to each other and to the University. Through the Association, alumni and students help ensure the continued excellence of LMU and are challenged to further the LMU journey in their social, spiritual, professional and intellectual experiences. All graduates of the university are automatically members of the Alumni Association.

Loyola Marymount's mission succinctly states in its preamble the university's three-fold mission:

The encouragement of learning
The education of the whole person
The service of faith and the promotion of justice
