The Kresge Challenge Met,
Hannon Library Funded
Through your support, two enormous goals in the $380 million "Campaign for
LMU" have been reached.
First, we reached the $55 million fundraising goal for the new William H.
Hannon Library. To see construction progress, visit

Second, we met the Kresge Challenge. The Kresge Foundation pledged $1 million if LMU could raise the then-remaining $12.5 million towards the $55 million goal. With the support of the alumni, we did it!
Alumni participation was key to the success.
- Overall, 1,498 alumni contributed - 81% of the library's contributors
- 178 had never given to LMU before.
