What is LMU EXTENSION?

LMU EXTENSION provides educational opportunities on and off the LMU campus and online.

Where is LMU EXTENSION located?

We are located on the Westchester Campus of Loyola Marymount University, in Suite 1840 of University Hall (on the ground floor directly across from the bookstore).

What programs do we offer?

Continuing Education includes the areas of professional development, continuing education, and personal enrichment. Professional development courses meet license, in-service, and or credential requirements, and also serves those who wish to complete an LMU professional certificate program. Continuing education courses include academic content falling outside the normal credit-granting range of classes, offering students a chance to learn something of interest. Personal enrichment courses include activities designed to develop or express interests, skills, or abilities for oneself.

Special Programs cover a variety of subject areas, especially programs and specialized courses for educators who are seeking to learn a new subject or just looking for salary advancement or credential requirements. Special Programs offers seminars or home study.

Center for Religion and Spirituality (CRS) offers a wide array of programs, workshops, and courses for pastoral ministers and teachers, both clergy and laity, professional and volunteer, full-time and part-time in religious education, spiritual development, ministry leadership, scripture and liturgy, and other related fields.
