Our Mission
LMU Extension, in conjunction with Loyola Marymount University’s mission and in cooperation with other LMU Colleges, Schools, and Divisions, provides opportunities for furthering the educational and professional goals of all learners. LMU Extension offers expanded curricular experiences, using traditional and innovative methods, locally, nationally, and internationally.
For life-long learners, LMU EXTENSION provides many Professional Development courses, with a focus on professional development and certificate programs in the Arts, Bioethics, Business Administration, Education, Human Resources Management, Language and Culture, as well as opportunities for Personal Growth and Enrichment. Our programs in Professional Development for Educators allow teachers to earn the credit hours necessary for career advancement. The Center for Religion and Spirituality offers certificate programs, individual courses, and special events related to religious education, ministerial development, and spiritual growth.
