ORIENTATION PROGRAMS
Freshmen orientation@lmu.edu www.lmu.edu/orientation
Since orientation provides a useful introduction to the people, programs, and opportunities LMU offers, freshmen are encouraged to participate in one of the two-day orientation programs offered during the summer. The orientation program is designed to allow students to interact in small groups, led by current LMU students. As a part of orientation, students meet with faculty for individual academic advisement and are assisted in registering for courses. Parents of entering freshmen may want to attend one of the orientation programs designed especially for them. For more information, refer to the orientation web site at www.lmu.edu/orientation.
Transfer Students orientation@lmu.edu www.lmu.edu/orientation
Transfer students are invited to attend orientation on the Wednesday and Thursday, prior to the start of the Fall semester. Orientation provides an opportunity to be introduced to the various services provided by LMU. An invitation is mailed to all new transfer students providing detailed information. Transfer Student Registration and Advisement Days are set aside exclusively for new students transferring to LMU. Placement testing, academic advisement, assistance with registration, and introduction to CAPP are made available to transfer students on these days. Refer to the Transfer Student link at registrar.lmu.edu for more information.
Graduate Students graduate@lmu.edu www.lmu.edu/graduate
