Holds
Holds stop a user from accessing some features of PROWL and may be placed on PROWL by campus administration. Holds can be viewed on PROWL by selecting "View Holds" from the registration menu.
Students will need to clear most holds before they are able to access most PROWL features.
- Address holds and Emergency Contact holds are removed as soon as the student submits the necessary information in PROWL
- Controller's holds are financial holds and are removed by the Office of the Controller only after the student has contacted the appropriate office within the financial network and submitted the appropriate paperwork or payment.
- Advisor holds are removed by the advisor after the student has met for advisement. (new transfer student should seek advisement with the Coordinator of Academic services in their college)
Holds originating from campus offices must be removed by that office. Dean's holds and Admission holds are examples of these holds.
