LMU Students
LMU Students
Upon admission to LMU, students are expected to complete their degree requirements here. Students who wish to take a transfer course at another institution must first obtain permission from the office of their Associate Dean.
Transfer Course Approval Process
Before registering for a course at another institution students are required to do the following:
1. Fill out a Transfer Course Approval form (TCA) and obtain the appropriate signatures from their Associate Dean's office.
2. Return the completed form to the Office of the Registrar, Suite 107 in St. Robert's Building.
Once you have completed the coursework and a grade has been issued, ask the transfer institution to send an official transcript to the Office of the Registrar at LMU. Only then will accepted courses be added to your transcript and applied appropriately to your degree requirements.
General Transfer Credit Policies
| 1. Coursework must be done at an institution accredited by one of the six regional associations of the Accrediting Commission for Senior or Junior Colleges and Universities. |

Existing Histories
The Existing Histories database is provided for those schools for which there is no articulation agreement. This is a database of courses that have been transferred to LMU in the past and how they have transferred. Since they have not been "articulated," there is no guarantee that the courses will transfer in the same way. To view the Existing Histories database, click here.
