Opportunities For Alumni
Career Services
LMU’s Career Development Services office provides alumni with lifetime career development services which include career counseling, job search assistance, graduate school information and access to career resources. Most services, including four (4) career counseling appointments annually, are offered at no charge. Fee-based services include career assessments, placement files and each career counseling appointment scheduled after the fourth appointment annually. Career Development Services has developed a suite of on-line resources which alumni may learn about and access via the CDS website .
LionJobs
LionJobs has been the primary career system for LMU students and alumni since 2005; now with over 7,000 registered students and alumni. Entry level, mid-career and executive level alumni can take advantage of a wide range of services, both as job seekers and as employers through LMU’s LionJobs career management system. The full suite of LionJobs services may be accessed from the Career Development Services website by clicking here . If you graduated prior to the 2004-2005 academic year and wish to utilize LionJobs, please contact Career Development Services at 310.338.2871 or careers@lmu.edu .
LMU alumni are encouraged to join the LionJobs professional network. This program provides LMU alumni with opportunities to share their professional stories with current LMU students who may benefit from a conversation with a fellow Lion. Unlike a long-term, formal mentoring relationship, contact from students is usually occurs as a one-time email or phone call.
