HR Mission
The mission of the HR department is to support the University's mission, goals and objectives by providing guidance and support to our community through proactive customer service, integrity, faith, pride, and leadership.
Purpose
By fulfilling this mission, we:
- Recruit a diverse workforce that is supportive of LMU's mission, goals and objectives and who is skilled, dedicated, and collegial.
- Recommend and administer benefits programs that fulfill the needs of the majority of employees and that assists in recruiting and retaining qualified faculty and staff members.
- Maintain staff records to provide management with reports for information and decision making.
- Provide training and development programs that will help LMU employees to function effectively in the workplace.
- Provide counsel and make sound recommendations on employee relations issues.
