Rebuild L.A. Collection, 1992-1997

Rebuild L.A. Collection, 1992-1997 (CSLA-6)

Rebuild L.A. (RLA) was a non-profit corporation formed immediately after the L.A. civil disturbances of April 29-30, 1992, when Mayor Tom Bradley and Governor Pete Wilson asked Peter Ueberroth to lead a community-wide effort to "restore the health and vitality of Los Angeles."

The records of Rebuild L.A. (RLA) described in this guide cover the years 1992 to 1997 and total approximately 122 linear feet (254 boxes, 5 oversize boxes/items, 1 map case drawer). They form Collection Number CSLA-6 in the Center for the Study of Los Angeles Research Collection.

The records are open for research with some restrictions under the conditions of the Center's access policy. Materials in this collection may be subject to copyright.
