January 3-10, 2009

Participants will be working with Dolores Mission, a Jesuit parish in the economically and politically disenfranchised community of Boyle Heights. Students will work to empower the community personally and socially by developing grassroots projects in education, leadership, and service. Throughout the trip, the group will develop a deeper understanding of the challenges facing inner-city communities in Los Angeles.
