Fall 2008 New Tutor Application due July 1, 2008

Overview of the Hiring Process

Your application will be considered complete when we:

    (1) receive the Fall 2008 New Tutor Application (attached)

    (2) verify your GPA

In order to be a tutor, you need to have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.3 if you have a major within the College of Science and Engineering or Business, or a cumulative GPA of 3.5 if you have a major within the College of Liberal Arts, Communications and Fine Arts or the School of Film and Television.

Once the LRC has received your complete application, you will receive email notification of the status of your application along with an interview time, if appropriate.

If you are hired, you will be required to attend 12-15 hours of training during the fall semester. You are paid for all training.

The pay rate for tutoring is $9.00 – $9.75 per hour for undergraduate students and $12.25 per hour for graduate students.

Please return your application to Susan Stanislas, LRC Coordinator by July 1, 2008.
