On March 30th alumni and actives of Alpha Delta Gamma Fraternity gathered in San Juan Capistrano for the annual ADG Alumni Hackers’ Golf Tournament and fundraiser at the San Juan Hills Country Club. The tournament, now in its second year, drew more than 150 players and participants.
Tim Dean ’82 and Bob Kerslake ’58 were honored as the 2006 and 2007 ADG Alumni of the Year, respectively. Each has established himself as a leader and contributor to society at large, to LMU, and to the ADG fraternity.
The men of ADG have taken up the challenge to raise money for the endowed ADG Scholarship and for the new LMU Athletics facilities. To date the ADG’s have raised more than $270,000 towards those goals. This represents over 55% of the four year goal to raise $500,000 for these endeavors. All ADG’s who plan to contribute to achieving this goal may contact Mike Kurz ’76, LLS ‘81 at attorneykurz@verizon.net or Erin Hanson at ehanson@lmu.edu.
A special thank you to the ADG alumni planning committee: Terry Buckley '56, Hal Barlow '66, Mike Kurz '76, Ken McCallick '76, James Kerin '78, Bernie Sandalow '78, Mike Shook '80, John Yonai '80, Brian Heffernan '84, James Van de Voorde '90, Chris Patterson '96, Brian Sarrail '06 and Alex Boand '06.
