Over 250 members of the LMU family returned to campus for a day of Hot Topics without Homework.  The day started off over lunch with an informative and stimulating University update by President Robert B. Lawton, S.J., followed by presentations by over 26 of LMU’s dedicated faculty members.  The topics ranged from “Absolutely Nothing,” “Shakespeare, Women and the Japanese Style” and “The Illustrated History of Neuroscience” to “Power and Politics in Los Angeles,” “Biblical Border Running: Jonah, Jesus and other Good Coyotes” and “Is a Dolphin a ‘Person?’”
