We would like to invite you to attend the March 14, 2007 breakfast meeting of the LMU Business Exchange,
our monthly networking and idea-sharing meeting for Southern California business leaders. We are now very pleased to be sponsored by LMU’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Based on our experience, we know that our monthly “idea exchange” program can bring tremendous benefits to you and your organization.
Specifically designed for Southern California leaders and managers in all types of organizations, large and small, our monthly LMU Business Exchange breakfast meetings (7-9 AM) provide tremendous benefits such as these:
· Valuable insights from stimulating, interactive “hot topic” discussions (e.g., surviving our challenging regulatory environment, employee health care, e-commerce, finding top talent).
· Networking with like-minded business leaders and invited special-topic experts in a supportive, fertile, and confidential setting featuring a rich exchange of ideas, feedback, and valuable resource contacts.
· Access to the “best practices” information, training, and project resources of LMU’s outstanding College of Business Administration, including its SBDC, to assist you in managing ongoing company challenges, change, and development opportunities.
Here is our March 14th breakfast meeting agenda (University Hall 1762, ground floor Executive Conference Center):
6:30-7:00 AM: Come early—beat the traffic, get a cup of coffee, and enjoy some networking!
7:00-7:30 AM: Introductions, informal discussions over breakfast.
7:30-8:30 AM: Invited presentation: “How You Can Take Advantage of Tremendous Services Offered by LMU’s Small Business Development Center,” presented by SBDC Director Cal Caswell and staff. Part of this session will include an opportunity for you to talk with others across the breakfast table about possible needs for SBDC services, provided free of charge, in your organization.
8:30-9:00 AM: Informal mixing, networking—you can stick around campus all day if you like!
The rich exchange resulting from the above highly interactive activity consistently leads to valuable insights, new connections, resource referrals, and tips for immediate application. The cost for this breakfast meeting is $40 (payment accepted at the door). To help us in our planning, please complete and fax the enclosed registration RSVP, or just send a simple e-mail message to SBDC@LMU.edu. After we get your information we will contact you with a confirmation and directions.
