Travel Accommodations

Hotel accommodations have been arranged with the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.  This hotel is located 2 blocks from the LAX Airport and only 2 miles from LMU.  A group discount rate of $109 + tax per room as well as a $10 daily parking rate have been arranged.  A courtesy shuttle from the LAX Airport is available to transport you to the hotel.  Return service is also provided.

To make reservations, click on the Marriott Hotels & Resorts logo or click the following link: Hotel Marriott Reservations.  You will be directed to the Los Angeles Airport Marriott's home page.  The appropriate discount code will already be entered, so that all you need to do is select the appropriate number of rooms and the dates.  The discount rate is applicable Wednesday, April 9 through Sunday, April 13.  Should you prefer to make your reservations by phone, dial (310) 641-5700.  You must reference the "LMU Ethics" group to receive the discount rate. 

Reservations must be made by Wednesday, March 19 in order to receive the discount rate.

This hotel features a Fedex/Kinkos business center open Monday-Friday, 6:30am to 11:00pm.  All rooms feature high speed internet connections.  Additional services and features are detailed on the website. 

For your convenience, there is a Hertz rental car office in the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.  By renting from Hertz, you have the ability to pick-up your vehicle as well as drop-off the vehicle at the hotel.   

Call 1-800-654-3131 to make your reservations.  You must specify that you would like to pick-up and drop-off at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.  If you mention that you are with Loyola Marymount University, you can receive a 20% educational discount. 

Hertz may not be the least expensive car rental option.  Approximately 40 rental car companies operate out of LAX, with vehicle rental sites located off the airport. Many of these rental car companies provide phone links inside or near the baggage claim areas on the Lower/Arrival Level of the terminals so travelers can request a free shuttle pick up to reach the rental car sites. 

There are ten companies (including Hertz) that are permitted to pick-up and drop-off their customers directly from the airline terminals using courtesy shuttles.  These companies are listed above.
