ABI/Inform Index to 1000 business & management periodicals; full text for over 600 sources.
Academic Search Premier in EBSCOhost Academic Search Premier is a largely full text database of more than 4000 scholarly journals. Other EBSCOhost databases include MasterFile Premier (more than 1900 general interest magazines), and Business Source Premier (over 2800 business publications). Coverage is generally back to the early 1990s, with older coverage for selected periodicals.
AccessScience Enhanced version of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology. In addition to scholarly encyclopedia entries, it contains biographies of scientists and current science and technology research news.

Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)

Collection of raw data files throughout the social sciences, including voter opinion and behavior, census data, education statistics, public health datasets, and more. These are raw data files to download that can then be manipulated with statistical software, such as SPSS.
JSTOR Electronic archive of over 700 prominent journals in many subject areas. Articles date back to volume 1 number 1 for most titles, but coverage ends 2-5 before present date, a "moving wall" system that protects publishers from lost revenue for recent articles.
Left Index Index to the literature of the left from over 750 publications worldwide. Coverage is back to 1982, with selected titles covered even earlier.

Oxford English Dictionary The authoritative dictionary of the English language. Essential for its etymologies of words with quotations of the earliest known use of the word.
Oxford Reference Online Contains over 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press, including entries from their Oxford Companions Series.

ScienceDirect ScienceDirect is a collection of scholarly journals published by Elsevier, a leading publisher in the fields of science, technology, and medicine (STM). LMU's has online access to over 700 of the periodicals in ScienceDirect, but not to the entire collection. Our coverage is mostly full text 1995 to the present. Scriver's Metabolic and Molecular Bases of Inherited Diseases Medical reference compiling current knowledge about and treatment of genetic disorders, including cancer. Includes ongoing supplements and revisions.

SPORTdiscus Comprehensive index covering sport, fitness, exercise, and related disciplines. Covers magazine and journal articles, as well as books and book chapters. As a module in EBSCOhost, users have immediate access to full text for more than 250 of the periodicals indexed.
SpringerLink Full text access to more than 1,500 journals, as well as books and reference works published by Springer. Coverage includes many subject areas, but with particular strength in the sciences. LMU's subscription does not currently include journals published by Brill but hosted on the SpringerLink website.
Statistical Universe Access to statistical information compiled by federal and state governmental agencies, business and trade groups, independent research organizations, and universities.
STAT-USA Compilation of U.S. government business information from many agencies. Emphasis on international trade, including country profiles and import & export information. Contains the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).
Ulrich's Periodical Directory Bibliographic database providing detailed information on periodicals worldwide.
U.S. Congressional Serial Set, 1817-1980 Reports, documents and journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, originally published in approximately 13,800 bound volumes. This monumental collection of primary source material is being released in stages with projected completion in 2007.
Victorian Database Index to articles, books, and dissertations published from 1970 to the present on every field of nineteenth-century British studies.
Wiley InterScience Full text access to a collection of scholarly journals published by Wiley, a leading publisher in the fields of science, technology, and medicine (STM).
