12/05/06

The Center for Teaching Excellence is sponsoring a LMU Faculty Book Club for 2007. The book that faculty are reading is Ken Bain’s “What the Best College Teachers Do”. If you do not have a copy of the book, and the LMU Library’s copies are checked out, you can use the LINK+service to check out the book instead. LINK+ is a regional interlibrary loan consortium to which LMU belongs with 40 other libraries in California and Nevada. Borrowing through LINK+ is free and fast – the book usually arrives in three business days at the library circulation desk. This particular book is available in 23 LINK+ libraries, including LMU’s library. You can request this book directly from here, or by visiting LINK+and searching for the title.
