Picture Yourself at Your Best!

The Loyola Marymount University campus offers plenty of places to have fun, stay fit or simply relax.

At the heart of it all is the Fritz B. Burns Recreation Center, the hub of LMU student recreation. The building includes a 7,200-square-foot weight room, three basketball/volleyball courts, two activity studios, a pro shop, locker rooms and a 50-meter outdoor swimming pool. Group fitness classes, personal training, and other fitness and wellness opportunities are popular.

In addition to staying physically fit, you can join a community service club such as Crimson Circle, a special interest club like Kuumba Beatz, or one of the university-affiliated fraternities or sororities. LMU's television station, campus newspaper, and award-winning radio station KXLU are all completely run and organized by students. In addition to clubs and organizations, there are also less formal events like dances, poetry slams, and open mic nights each week.
