Hello!

Welcome to the DSS website. The DSS Office facilitates services and resources to students with disabilities so that they can achieve maximum independence while they pursue their educational goals. We also advise students, faculty, and staff regarding disability issues.

To share a little of my background, in 1988 I acquired my Masters degree from New York University and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1991. For 15 years I coordinated a disability program for The Actors’ Fund of America and I also supervised graduate students with disabilities at various universities in southern California. I came to LMU in July 06 and am very excited to be working at LMU.

Brandi Holland, DSS Coordinator, who received her Masters in School Counseling from LMU joined our department permanently in October 06. Prior to this period she worked as one of the DSS graduate assistants. She will provide supervision and direction to the student staff. We also have two graduate student assistants who help ensure that the routine inquiries are responded to and also perform other routine tasks of the Office.
